On March 12–13, 2025, the PREACT pilot course was successfully held in Sofia, Bulgaria, as part of the "PRophylactive Education & Actions for Cardiovascular diseases and diabeTes" (PREACT) project. The event brought together participants from diverse backgrounds and professional fields, united by the common goal of preventing cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes through educational and digital tools.![]()
During the two-day course, attendees explored key topics such as healthy lifestyle practices, self-monitoring of health status, and early prevention strategies. They also had the opportunity to interact with the innovative PREACT web platform and provide valuable feedback that will support its final development.![]()
The Sofia event is part of a series of pilot courses conducted in various European countries under the PREACT project, aiming to enhance health literacy and reduce health inequalities across the EU.![]()
